What SetMatcher Plus gives you, and what stays free either way
Plus is €3.99 a month or €39.99 a year. It adds six things to an account that is already complete: it does not unlock the product, because the product is not locked. Everything you need to play, record and organise up to 16 entrants is free and stays free.

The free plan is not a trial
SetMatcher charges nothing for the network. Playing, recording a match, your rating, your profile, inviting a friend, a group of any size, a club register of any size and every public page are free. Every tournament, league, ladder and competition up to 16 entrants is free as well, with every tool: the draw, the courts, the order of play, the desk, check-in, the printed sheets and the live boards.
That is a decision rather than a kindness. Every person who arrives makes a rating engine worth more to everybody already in it, so charging at the door would be charging to make the product worse. Nothing that is free today will acquire a limit later, and any event that already exists on the day paid plans open keeps its free size for the rest of its life.
What the subscription adds
Six things, and they are all readings of matches you already played or events in groups you already run. A free account loses nothing to them: everything it shows today, it keeps showing.
- Match statistics from every match scored point by point: serve, return, the pressure points your sport has, the longest run of points and how the match turned.
- Form and trends: what your rating has done over the last 7, 30, 90 and 365 days, and your record against stronger, equal and weaker opponents.
- The rivalry in depth: one opponent by the surface it was played on, by year, over recent periods, and through both rally logs.
- The year in review in full: every month, every sport and format played, everybody met and every title won, as a page to print.
- Tournaments, leagues, ladders and competitions past 16 entrants, in the groups you run yourself.
- No advertising anywhere in SetMatcher.
What Plus deliberately does not do
Nothing paid moves a rating, changes a draw or a seeding, puts anybody higher in a list, or offers a better opponent. Paying gets you more to read about matches you already played, never a different match. The rating, the draw and the seeding are worked out the same way for everybody, whatever they pay.
Plus also does not buy the event day at a venue. Courts and the schedule, the order of play with times, the desk, check-in, the printed sheets and the live boards are free up to 16 entrants, and above that they belong to the event rather than to a person. Running a day at a venue is an event’s cost, which is why a €3.99 plan does not open a desk for a sixty-player open.
What it costs, and how the billing works
€3.99 a month, or €39.99 a year, which is 10 months’ money. One gross price including VAT, the same figure in every country it is sold in. You cancel yourself without asking anybody, and the plan runs to the end of the period you already paid for.
You have 14 days to change your mind with a full refund. If a payment fails you keep everything for 14 days, and nothing is ever deleted because a payment stopped.
