SetMatcher
Who it is for

Run your club’s season without the spreadsheet

Members come and go, the committee changes and the season has to keep going through all of it. SetMatcher keeps your members, courts, lessons, teams, results and rankings in one place the whole committee can use.

Free to sign up and free to play. Your profile stays private until you choose to publish it.

A club year, step by step

From welcoming new members in autumn to handing over to a new committee in summer, here is how SetMatcher helps at each point in the year.

  1. 1

    Autumn: your members

Invite members by email, one at a time or up to 200 at once from a spreadsheet. Someone joins your member list when they accept, so the list stays accurate and nobody is signed up without knowing it. Then open the booking sheet on your courts, and the members book their own evenings under rules you set once.

  2. 2

Winter: the teams and the lessons

Enter your teams for the season and pick each squad from your members; a player can be in only one team per division, and members can put their own name down through a link you share. Open a season of lessons at the same time: appoint your instructors, set aside the courts, and let members sign up for a group that meets the same hour every week.

  3. 3

    Spring: the season runs

The fixture list is made for you, with home and away matches balanced, and the league table updates after every result, counted the way your federation counts it. The instructors take their register lesson by lesson, a rained-off lesson is owed back under the rule you chose, and the ledger says who has paid.

  4. 4

    Summer: the handover

When the committee changes, hand the club, a group or a competition over to the new person. Nothing changes until they accept, so your club always has an owner, even after someone leaves.

The parts you will use most

What it does not do: SetMatcher is not a membership administration and does not collect membership fees. It keeps track of who plays, who booked which court, who is in which lesson group, what they played and the results. Your federation still decides how your league is organised.

Running a club

What a committee wants to know before it moves its club: what a club is, what it costs, what a year looks like, how to move over, and how the register, the park map, the booking sheet and the lessons work.

The other two

Most people are more than one of these. A club secretary often plays on Thursday evening too.

Your first match is one tap away.

Free for players. Clubs get a register, a park map, court bookings and lessons.
